Scott Lamont

Scott has over 30 year’s experience in various roles within the Construction Industry. Starting as an apprentice stonemason at Stuart McGlashen in Shotts. Since completing his apprentice ship Scott has worked for various companys including, McFarlane Masonry, Locharbriggs sandstone quarry and Hunter & Clark progressing through into management roles.

Louise Thomas

Graduated from Dundee Institute of Technology with a degree in Quantity Surveying in 1992. First entered the stone industry working as an estimator 1994, at what was then Baird & Stevenson Ltd, Locharbriggs Sandstone quarry in Dumfries. Gradually worked her way up in the company becoming Quarry Manager and then ultimately under the ownership of Marshalls, Group Sales Manager until 2006. Since then Louise has worked for stonemasonry contractors on all aspects on Masonry Cladding, Restoration, supply and conservation. At McIntyre Masonry, Louise estimates the contract and surveys to contract completion.

Bob Osinski

Bob started off as a labourer at Mcintyre Masonry, he has then went on to complete his stonemasonry apprenticeship and work as a stonemason for a number of years. Bob then progressed on to site supervisor then area supervisor. Bob has continued his personal development, completing his HNC in building site management and is now the contracts manager at McIntyre Masonry.

Jenny started on day one at McIntyre Masonry carrying out general financial duties. Jenny has a vast experience over many industries, including financial manager at a SPL football club.

Mhairi MacDonald

Mhairi MacDonald brings over a decade of hands-on experience in finance management and office operations. As co-owner and Finance Director of a successful IT business for 13 years, she played a pivotal role in shaping its financial strategy and operational efficiency—ultimately making the business sellable and investment-ready. Her career also includes impactful roles at two other companies, where she led the implementation and improvement of accounting processes. Mhairi’s strength lies in simplifying and streamlining workflows, consistently saving time and resources while enhancing accuracy and control. Known for her practical mindset and process-driven approach, Mhairi excels at making complex systems easier and more efficient. Her ability to identify bottlenecks and introduce smart solutions has earned her a reputation as a trusted leader in financial and operational transformation.
